About this hall
Conference hall on the Maltta (Main) Campus of the University of Duhok. The conference archive records it as the venue of ICRIE 2017 (26-27 April 2017) and ICRIE 2023 (13-14 September 2023), and as the announced day-one venue of CSASE 2020 before that conference was moved online.

Getting to Duhok: the University of Duhok is on the western side of the city, about a two-hour drive from Erbil International Airport (EBL). An airport taxi comes straight to the campus.
On the campus: the hall is inside the Convention Center, which stands on the high ground along the eastern side of the Maltta (Main) Campus, next to the Cultural and Social Center and facing the city. It is the dark granite building with the glass canopy over its entrance, roughly 200 m east of the College of Law and Political Sciences, and the way in is up the steps under that canopy.
Inside the building: the entrance opens onto the long concourse signed University of Duhok Convention Center, and the Conference Hall - Hall CH1 in the university's own naming - opens off it. It seats 683, with a full stage, a 6 x 3 m screen, and the translation and sound systems for interpreted sessions. The VIP lounge, the two workshop rooms and the cafeteria used for coffee breaks are off the same concourse.
