The University of Duhok, represented by its College of Medicine, hosted the 7th International Conference on Diabetes over three days from 16 September 2026, in academic partnership with the Kurdistan Diabetes Association. It brought together local and international physicians, specialists, academics and healthcare professionals to discuss developments and challenges in diabetes. The second and third days featured more than 40 scientific lectures and research presentations and two workshops on diabetes and related health issues.
